| WE LOVE EXCELLENCE WITHOUT COMPROMISE CONTROLS THERE MODULATING BY-PASS DAMPER IS THE MOST FUNCTIONAL AUTOMATIC DAMPER WE'VE WORKED WITH. WE DON'T USE DUMP ZONES, SO THESE ROUND DAMPERS ARE A MUST ESPECIALLY WHEN CONVERTING TO MORE THAN 2 ZONES, IT ALLOWS FOR STEADY STATIC PRESSURE NO MATTER HOW MANY THERMOSTATS ARE CALLING. Fresh Air System This Fresh Air System utilizes outside air to automatically provide comfort without running the air conditioning when in the cooling mode. The system consists of an EC (Enthalpy Control), a fresh air control panel and outside air dampers. The EC is a control that will sense the temperature and humidity in the air around it. This is adjustable for the desired set point. With the EC in operation this will allow for a very economical way to cool your home or building with fresh air. The EC is wired to an HK2000 which will open the outside air damper and turn on the fan to circulate the air to where it is needed. This will only happen when there is a thermostat calling for cooling and the EC senses that the outside air can do the job before using the air conditioning. Once the outside air is not acceptable, the fresh air system will shut down and turn on the air conditioning. |

| How the Ultra-Zone System Works The purpose of the Ultra-Zone system is to provide total comfort in the home and office. Motorized dampers are "opened" or "closed" by thermostats based on the temperature set point of the homeowner. The damper system will control the airflow through the ductwork and deliver ONLY the desired air to the desired location. Each thermostat has the ability to turn on and shut off the heating and cooling. The Ultra-Zone system can accommodate over 30 zones. This means that over 30 thermostats can be installed in a home or building to control the temperature in each zone. There are very few Ultra-Zone components that are needed to make the zoning system function. The control panel is the "brain" of the system. The zone thermostats allow independent temperature control and the zone dampers control the airflow to the zone thermostats. A transformer is needed to power the system and occasionally a by-pass damper may be required. The basic components of an Ultra-Zone system are: 1) A Control Panel 4) Dedicated Transformer 2) Zone Thermostats 5) By-pass Damper (If necessary) 3) Zone Dampers Along with some thermostat wire, these are the only components that are needed to install an Ultra-Zone system. The above diagram shows a typical installation with all of the components needed for a zoning system. |
